About The Course

Course Description

This three-session workshop provides a practical introduction to the legal, administrative, and operational aspects of lease management. It is designed for professionals who are responsible for overseeing leases, managing tenant relationships, and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation and contractual obligations.

Participants will learn how lease agreements are structured, interpreted, administered, and enforced throughout their full lifecycle—from tenant screening and onboarding to rent collection, renewals, dispute resolution, and lawful termination. The course also covers key landlord–tenant legislation, including the Residential Tenancies Act, and highlights the risks, responsibilities, and compliance requirements that affect day-to-day decision-making.

In addition to technical knowledge, the workshop builds practical skills in communication, negotiation, and critical thinking to help participants manage complex tenant–landlord interactions professionally and ethically. Real-world examples and facilitated discussion ensure learning is directly applicable to property and facility operations.
